GoPro Introduces Smaller, Lighter, Mightier Hero3+

GoPro have just launched a new and updated version of their top-end Hero3 camera, the Hero3+.

The 2013 Emmy Award winning camera is smaller, lighter and more powerful than its predecessor. It has 4x faster built-in Wi-Fi, a sharper lens and 30% battery life too.

In-fact, they’ve somehow managed to shave a full 20% off the weight while reducing the size and improving the other internals. The price for the Black model remains at an account-emptying £359.99 direct through GoPro themselves, though the older model remains at a similar price through resellers.

Upgraded and still 20% lighter.

The Hero3+ supports 4K video at 15fps (frames per second) and 12mp photographs at 30fps – useful for those editable action shots. There’s a new feature called SuperView which allows for an even wider perspective on your videos. GoPro say they’ve increased the image sharpness by 33% and reduced artifacting by a scale of two. Audio quality is also improved.

Superview gives a wider-than-ever view.
